Qatar: The Human Resources Department of the Ministry of Interior of Qatar held an orientation meeting for the Ministry’s scholarship recipients for 2023 on Thursday, 7 September 2023, at the main auditorium of the ministry headquarters in Wadi Al Sail.
The purpose of the meeting was to introduce the Scholarship Department and its role, honour outstanding staff, provide advice and guidance to new scholarship recipients, and encourage them to excel.
The Ministry of Interior, represented by the Human Resources Department, has a special focus on scholarship programs as part of the Ministry’s plan to develop and qualify its human resources, enhance the efficiency and skills of its staff, and contribute to the progress and advancement of society, recognising that education is the fundamental pillar of societal development.
Maj. Gen. Khalifa Nasr Al-Nasr, the Director of the Human Resources Department, and several officers, scholarship recipients, and parents attended the meeting. Maj. Gen. Khalifa Al-Nasr honoured the outstanding staff of the Ministry of Interior in various academic fields.
On the same day, the Ministry of Interior Department of Qatar participated in the 38th Directors General of Criminal Investigations meeting held in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries on Thursday, 7 September 2023.
Brig. Nasser Abdullah Al Mahmoud, Assistant Director General of Criminal Investigation at the Ministry of Interior, represented the Ministry at the meeting, along with several officers. The meeting discussed various topics on the agenda to enhance security cooperation and combat crime in the GCC countries.
