Bahrain: The Minister of Health of the Kingdom of Bahrain, Jaleela Jawad Hassan, has recently met with the Ambassador of the Republic of India to Bahrain, Piyush Srivastava at the ministry’s headquarters. 

The meeting was held to discuss the topics of mutual concerns and strengthen the diplomatic cooperation between India and Bahrain.

As per the latest updates, the officials from the Ministry of Health, Bahrain, took to the official social media handle to share the information regarding the visit of the Indian Ambassador to the ministry’s headquarters. 

The update read, “Health Minister Jaleela Jawad Hassan, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Health, held a meeting with Piyush Srivastava, Ambassador of the Friendly Republic of India to the Kingdom of Bahrain, to explore ways to enhance joint areas of bilateral cooperation in the health sector.”

Furthermore, at the launch of the meeting held in the presence of Dr Lawwa Rashid Shaweter, Executive Chairman of Primary Health Care Centres, the Minister praised the longstanding strong bilateral ties that unite the Kingdom of Bahrain and the friendly Republic of India in many areas, notably, health sector.

During the meeting, the most important topics of mutual interest, the aspects of cooperation and coordination in the field of exchange of experiences, training and enhancing the horizons of fruitful cooperation between the two friendly countries were discussed, as well as reviewing and following up the latest developments related to the health sector.

For his part, the Indian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Srivastava, stressed the active partnership between the two friendly countries in seeking to enhance cooperation in the field of health and medical sciences.

He further outlined the importance of enhancing efforts and initiatives in order to provide everything possible to contribute to supporting and enhancing health-related relations and coordination between the two sides in various disciplines.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the Health Minister, Jaleela Hassan, expressed her deepest thanks and appreciation to the Ambassador of the Republic of India, wishing him all the best and success.
