The Minister of Environment of Egypt, Yasmin Fouad, has recently visited the building of the Ministry of Environment for a brief inspection tour as part of the logistical procedures.

The Minister of the Environment, Yasmin Fouad, holds the periodic meeting of the reserves from the Ministry headquarters in the new administrative capital to explore ways to support investment in natural reserves in the Republic of Egypt.

Egypt: The Environment Minister of Egypt, Yasmin Fouad, participated in a conference accompanied by Ghada Waly, the Secretary-General of the United Nations and the Executive Director of the United Nations (UN) Office on Drugs and Crime.

Jordan: The Minister of the Environment, Education and scientific research of Jordan, Muawya Radaida, attended a joint meeting held at the building of the Ministry of Education with the Secretary General of the Ministry of Administrative and Financial Affairs, Dr Najwa Qibilat, to discuss cooperation among them in several aspects.

Jordan: The Ministry of Environment of Jordan is implementing a project of solid Waste sorting and recycling (paper, cardboard, plastic, nylon, aluminium, metal) in cooperation with recycling authorities, environmental associations and civil society organizations.

Egypt: The Minister of the Environment, Yasmin Fouad, headed the sixth session of the Board of Directors of the Waste Management System. She reviews the output of implementing the National Strategy for Municipal Solid Waste.

Jordan: Jordanian Minister of Environment, Dr Muawya Al Radaidaida, met with the Chairman and Members of the Council of Decentralization of Irbid Governorate to discuss the aspects of coordination and mutual cooperation between both administrations.
