Bahrain: HM Jaleela Hassan presents health certificates to five universities

Bahrain: The Health Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain, Jaleela Jawad Hassan, has organized the ceremony of handing out certificates for health universities under the patronage of the Chairman of the Supreme Council of Health, Dr Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa.

Bahrain: The Health Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain, Jaleela Jawad Hassan, has organized the ceremony of handing out certificates for health universities under the patronage of the Chairman of the Supreme Council of Health, Dr Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa.

As per the reports, five universities in the Kingdom of Bahrain received the ‘Health Universities Certificates’. The Supreme Council for Health, and the Ministry of Health, in cooperation with the Higher Education Council, organized the ceremony of handing out certificates for health universities.

The ceremony was arranged in the presence of Dr Jaleela Jawad Hassan, Minister of Health, and Dr Rana bint Isa bin Daij Al-Khalifa Al-Amin The General of the Council of Higher Education, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Secretaries of the Higher Education Council, Regional Director of the World Health Organization for the Middle East, Dr Ahmed bin Salem Al-Manzary.

Along with the top government officials, several senior officials and stakeholders were present at the event to deliver five universities the certificate of accreditation as health universities per the approved standards and conditions.

On this occasion, Minister of Health, Dr Jaleela Jawad Hassan, expressed her pleasure in delivering certificates to the universities eligible for health universities while implementing this unique initiative that adopts a comprehensive concept of health.

Minister Hassan said the ceremony aimed to establish an educational environment and organizational culture that promotes the health, well-being and sustainability of its society, as enabled individuals Fulfilling their full potential.

Furthermore, the accreditation of these health universities by the World Health Organization embodies the high status of the Kingdom of Bahrain. These continuous successes and distinguished programs bear the fruit of the good directions and insights of Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of the Great Kingdom of Bahrain and the Follow-up of the government headed by Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prime Minister.

Jaleela Hassan explained that one of the most prominent objectives of health universities is to promote sustainable health policies and planning across the University, providing a healthy working environment and learning environment.

She added that ensuring a healthy and sustainable physical environment, encouraging wider academic interest in developments in health promotion, developing links with the community, as well as ensuring proven impact Improves services and academic performance at the University while supporting health standards, where areas of work include building health policy, creating supportive environments, as well as promoting community work, developing personal skills, and redirecting health services.
