Middle East, Egypt: The Ministry of Environment of Egypt, under the guidance of Minister Yasmin Fouad, has recently shared an update regarding the appearances of residents and citizens of Egypt while celebrating the holy month of Ramadan by making a “Ramadan lantern” from environmentally friendly ingredients.
According to the updates, in celebration of the advent of the holy month of Ramadan, the Ministry of Environment, through the General Administration for Culture and Awareness, in the Central Administration for Media and Environmental Awareness, presented a special design for the “Ramadan Lantern” made of environmentally friendly components.
The officials stated that the designed ‘Ramadan Lantern’ is one of the most important Ramadan manifestations and rituals, which has a special place in the mind and conscience of the Egyptian people to express joy and celebrate the advent of the Holy Month.
The reports further confirmed that the ministry’s awareness team designed the “Ramadan Lantern” in faith in the ministry’s awareness role, which used inexpensive materials available in any home, such as paper, cardboard, cans, and Sullivan.
Furthermore, some simple and inexpensive materials and ingredients were also used to emphasize the principle of reusing waste to protect the environment and making such products and utilizing available resources in the industry. The joy of its surrounding environment as the high cost of buying and making lanterns at home can be saved free of charge.
Moreover, this comes under the instructions, directiveness and supervision of Dr Yasmin Fouad, the Minister of the Environment, along with the Central Administration for Media and Environmental Awareness of the Ministry.
