Egypt: Tourism Ministry participates in WTM Latin America International Tourism Exhibition in Brazil

The Ministry of Tourism and Monuments, Egypt, has recently shared an update regarding the Ministry’s participation in the WTM (World Travel Market) Latin America International Tourist Exhibition in Sao Polo, Brazil, which kicked off yesterday, April 04, 2023.

Egypt: The Ministry of Tourism and Monuments, Egypt, has recently shared an update regarding the Ministry’s participation in the WTM (World Travel Market) Latin America International Tourist Exhibition in Sao Polo, Brazil, which kicked off yesterday, April 04, 2023.

According to the shared updates, the officials from the Ministry of Tourism and Monuments stated that the Ministry participated in the event, a representative of the Egyptian General Authority for Tourism Activism, which participated in the events of the WTM Latin America International Tourist Exhibition.”

The report also stated that the tourism exhibition event started yesterday, April 04 and will end on April 05, in the city of Sao Polo, Brazil. In addition, it was also confirmed that the WTM Latin America International Tourist Exhibition was all set to host several small or big events during the exhibition to attract the audience.

During the events of the first days of the exhibition, Mr Ahmed Ali, Director-General of the Foreign Offices of the Egyptian General Authority for Tourism Activity, held a number of professional and media meetings in the presence of the advisor Nashwa Bakr, the director of the commercial office in Saobolo, said reports.

Furthermore, the meetings also pointed out the importance of promoting the Egyptian tourist destination in the coming period and implementing joint promotional campaigns, especially in The shadow of the increase inbound tourism movement from this promising tourist market.

As per the sources, the meeting also conveyed that it was agreed to carry out joint promotional campaigns with a number of tour organisers, as well as organise a promotional visit for media representatives and influencers, especially in light of the positive indicators in the numbers of tourists arriving from Brazil to Egypt who prefer cultural tourism.

The Egyptian wing participating in the exhibition has witnessed a large number of media persons and representatives of tourism companies interested in the Egyptian tourist destination, and the design of the Egyptian wing attracted visitors from tour organisers and media representatives as it is located at the main entrance of Expo Center Norte conference centre.

Notably, it is worth mentioning that the Egyptian wing shares a number of Egyptian tourism companies and hotels operating in the Latin market.
