Egypt: The National Tunnels Authority has released the regularization of train operation in the three metro lines and the regular operation of LRT trains in conjunction with the first days of Eid ul-Fitr.

The update shared by the officials read “The National Tunnels Authority has announced the regular train operation in the three subway lines. The three-line operation schedule includes an estimated 1385 flights per day, with an average of 510 first-line, 612 second-line, and 263 third-line trips.”

The statement also indicated the continuation of the close monitoring of the metro leaders and officials of the movement through the central control room and through the presence of leaders and officials annexed to the three metro lines.

Furthermore, to follow up the regularization of the schedule and order inside the stations was conducted by providing the best possible services to the passengers during the holy days of Eid ul-Fitr.

Moreover, the National Tunnel Authority has also stated that the continuation of working on Ramadan dates during the holy Eid Al-Fitr, where the operating hours from the terminals start at 5 to 6 am and the last train dates from the terminals and their meeting at the interchange stations of the first and second lines will be the last train to the first line from Helwan Station It’s 10:00 am.

The update further stated that from the new Marj station at 10:00 am, and to the second line from Shubra Al-Khaimah station and Al-Muneeb station at 10:00 a.m.

The last train for the third line from Adli Mansour station at 10:00 am and from Kit-Kat station at 3:00 am, where the trains between the first and second lines at Anwar Sadat Station are met at 1 am, the trains between the second and third lines are met at Ataba Station at 7:30 am.

The trains from the first and the third lines at Jamal Abdel Nasser Station are met at 7:30 am, and all emergency teams have been paid at the different stations to deal with any sudden disturbances that may occur and remove them immediately

The statement indicated the regularization of the operation of the light electric train LRT with a total of 136 daily trips, which connects the Mansour Central Exchange Station and the neighbourhood of the Arts and Culture Station in the administrative capital and serves the cities of Eastern Cairo such as the Transit, Future, Badr and Alshorouk

The authorities further took it to share the details and schedule of the trains which are as follows;

Mansour Justice Station

The first flight at 6 am

The last flight is at 5:30 pm

Arts and Culture Station

The first flight is at 6 and 10 minutes in the morning

And the last flight is 9 and 9 minutes in the evening

The new crossing station (alma’refa)

The first flight at 9 and 7 minutes in the morning

The last flight is at 6:15 pm.

Badr Station

The first flight is at 5 and 10 minutes in the morning

The last flight is at 6 pm
