Egypt: The Spanish Coach of the renowned Manchester City Football Club, Pep Guardiola, has been on his special visit to Egypt with his family. He has visited the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC) along with several other tourist destinations in the Middle Eastern country.
He was greeted and welcomed by the Egyptian General Authority for Tourism Activation Office at the Cairo International Airport and was presented with flowers, souvenirs, and promotional materials for Egypt.
According to recent updates, the Egyptian Tourism Authority has noted that “Pep Guardiola and his family visiting the pyramids of Giza, the authority organizes a lunch banquet for him in one of the hotels overlooking the Pyramids of Giza.”
In addition, it added that currently, Spanish coach Pep Guardiola is visiting Egypt, England Manchester City coach, and his family, on a special week-long visit for part of his summer vacation.
On his part, Amr Al-Qazi, the executive chairman of the Egyptian General Authority for Tourism Activation, noted that such celebrity visits have a strong and influential impact on the tourism markets.
The visit of Guardiola will play a significant role in promoting Egypt’s tourism on a larger scale, including the Spanish market, which has seen significant growth in the tourism movement during the first half of this year.
Furthermore, “Pep Guardiola and his family arrived at Cairo Airport yesterday evening from Spain and were received by Nesreen Othmanli, the director of the Egyptian General Authority for Tourism Activation at Cairo International Airport,” said the reports.
A number of office members also welcomed them. They were welcomed and presented with flowers, souvenirs and promotional material about some tourist and archaeological sites in the Egyptian tourist destination.
The program of visiting Cairo has begun and will end in Abu Simbel in Aswan Governorate, where he visited today the area of the pyramids of Giza.
As the Egyptian General Authority for Tourism Activation invited him to a lunch banquet in one of the hotels overlooking the pyramids, he was received by Ahmed Ali, the Director General of the External Office of the Egyptian General Tourism Authority for Tourism Relations.
They were accompanied by Narmin Hanafi, the Director of General Administration for Tourism Relations of the Egyptian General Authority of Tourism Activation, welcoming him and his family.
They were presented with a commemorative gift of a copy of King Tut Ankh Amoun’s mask, which he admired very much. This pilgrimage is then scheduled to continue on an indigo journey from Luxor to Aswan on one of the golden roads, concluding with a visit to the temple of Abu Simbel in Aswan.
