PM Drew, his wife Diani Jimesha Prince Drew and the Cabinet Ministers wished her a life filled with health and happiness. They celebrated the birth of the baby girl at the hospital and welcomed her with love and enthusiasm.

Independence Day of St. Kitts and Nevis is a significant occasion which is celebrated with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor every year on September-19. The day marks the freedom of the nation from British colonial rule, as it gained the Independence in the year 1983.

The students were entertained at the youth rally, which included the folklore performances, dancing and singing. Impactful presentations were also held that encouraged the students to avoid the negative habits of substance abuse.

In a possible way to transform the education system of St. Kitts and Nevis, government is putting efforts to meet the needs of a modern society.

The initiative has been taken as the Ministry of Education was unsatisfied with the results from previous mould tests and employed the use of UV light, which leveraged the power of ultraviolet light that offers a non-toxic way to eliminate mould spores without leaving behind any chemical residue.

Independence Day festivities commence well in advance, with preparations including parades, cultural events and flag hosting ceremonies.

PM Drew encouraged all the students to be kind to each other, to respect their teachers and to do their best, as they headed into the new academic year.

Prime Minister Drew further added that it is a commitment that he made and continue to expand. He encouraged all of them to do their part to raise the children well and to invest positively in their lives.

PM Drew expressed that he took the opportunity to wish George Edmund David a very Happy 103rd birthday. He added that it is a tremendous feat by an exemplary human being.

The minor works that are currently taking place at the school includes the installation of doors and windows, also including painting of certain areas to remove graffiti.

The meeting was hosted ahead of the 90-day campaign that will include a series of National Consultations on Violence and Crime as a Public Health Issue.

The Embassy hosted the ceremony to celebrate the outstanding sixteen students, who are embarking on their academic journey in Taiwan.
