Bahrain: The Deputy Minister of Health of the Kingdom of Bahrain, Walid Khalifa Al Mani, welcomed the Chairman of the Hamad City Pharmacies Group, Ahmed Al Alawi, at the Ministry’s headquarters yesterday, April 9, 2023. The meeting was held in the presence of several other top officials and health sector members.

According to the shared updates, during the meeting, along with the Deputy Minister of Health Bahrain, Walid Khalifa Al Mani, was also accompanied by the Ahmed Al-Alawi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Hamad City Pharmacies Group, and Reda Al-Halwaji, Director of Financial Affairs of the Group.

In addition, at the outset of the meeting, Walid Al-Mani welcomed Ahmed Al-Alawi, citing the supportive and encouraging role played by the private sector in supporting the health sector and providing various medical requirements and pharmaceutical supplies for the benefit of the Bahraini community.

Furthermore, Deputy Health Minister Walid Al-Mani also appreciated the initiatives and active partnership provided by the Hamad City Pharmacies Group in sponsoring and supporting the launch ceremony of the events of “World Health Day 2023.”

He stated that the ceremony of World Health Day celebrations of this year came in conjunction with the seventy-fifth anniversary of the establishment of the World Health Organization under the slogan “Health for All”: 75 years of improving public health.

On his part, Ahmed Al-Alawi, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Hamad City Pharmacies Group, expressed his thankfulness and appreciation for the fruitful and distinguished efforts made by the Ministry of Health in various health sectors.

He extended his remarks and emphasized the interest of the Group and its continued willingness to commit to activating supportive community partnerships to achieve integration and cooperation for the benefit of public health and to improve the quality of health and preventive services offered by the health sector in the Kingdom.

At the end of the meeting, Deputy of the Health Minister Walid Khalifa Al-Mani expressed his sincere gratitude to the Hamad City Pharmacies Group, wishing them all the best and success.
